Hostel in Porto

Located on the grounds of a renovated house transformed into a hostel, this garden is marked by the presence of pre-existing orange trees, which are stabilized on a gravel floor, while beds of vegetation define the space through a curvilinear design, which breaks the rigidity of the ground. The bamboos on the side generate privacy from neighbours and the vegetation, mostly evergreen, adds seasonal interest to the space throughout the year. Through this composition, and a low lighting strategy, intimate and pleasant spaces are created, ideal for enjoying a meal with friends or a late afternoon reading near nature.
