Eng. Paulo Palha, president of the National Association of Green Roofs, was re-elected vice-president of the European Federation for Green Roofs and Walls (EFB), at the General Assembly last June.

This re-election reinforces Portugal's position in Europe as relevant members of sustainable development in cities. To this end, the importance of national and municipal incentives and the creation of technical guides for the proper execution and maximization of the benefits of Nature Based Solutions are underlined.

EFB was founded in 1997 and unites green infrastructure associations from several European countries, developing market reports and organizing events across Europe, with the aim of raising awareness of the need to create green infrastructure.
